Seismic structure and tectonics of the southern Arauco Basin, south-central Chile (~ 38°S)

► We present detailed seismic-stratigraphic interpretations of a seismic reflection line. ► We have recognized three structural domains: Inversion, Extension and Accretion. ► The Arauco Basin shows pre-Miocene contractional deformation. ► Tectonic phases can be recognized even in areas very close to the subduction margin.
