Multi-element association analysis of stream sediment geochemistry data for predicting gold deposits in Barramiya gold mine, Eastern Desert, Egypt

► Stream sediments were analyzed for geochemical prospecting of Au in Barramiya area. ► Gold in analyzed samples up to 3.51 ppm. ► R-mode factor score map enabled a more precise delineation of gold mineralization. ► Exploration significance of some anomalies has not been established. ► Number of anomalies may be related to undiscovered mineralization.
