Structural and kinematic analysis of the Early Paleozoic Ondor Sum-Hongqi mélange belt, eastern part of the Altaids (CAOB) in Inner Mongolia, China

► The mélange experienced two phrases of ductile deformation before Early Devonian. ► The D1 phrase formed S1 foliation, L1 stretching lineation and F1 intrafolial folds. ► The D1 phrase displays a top-to-the-NW shearing kinematic feature. ► The D2 phrase developed NW-verging F2 folds and S2 axial planar cleavage. ► We argue that these deformations were developed by one collision event.
