Source, evolution and emplacement of Permian Tarim Basalts: Evidence from U-Pb dating, Sr-Nd-Pb-Hf isotope systematics and whole rock geochemistry of basalts from the Keping area, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous region, northwest China

► We catch the active period of Tarim Permian Basalts (TPB). ► The source of TPB was OIB-like mantle with high partial melting. ► The TPB underwent AFC process during its upwelling. ► The TPB was potentially related to a Permian mantle plume in Tarim Basin.
