Quantitative kinematic analysis within the Khlong Marui shear zone, southern Thailand

► Two deformation phases were recorded in the Khlong Marui shear zone. ► D1 is characterized by dextral ductile deformation. ► D1a occurred during amphibolite facies and D1b occurred under greenschist facies. ► D2 is brittle normal faulting dominantly oriented striking between 000° and 030. ► Wm of D1 quartz texture indicates simple shear flow in a transpression zone.
