Tectono-metamorphic evolution of a high- to medium-grade ductile deformed metagabbro/metadiorite from the Arenosa Creek Shear Zone, Western Sierras Pampeanas, Argentina

► A high- to medium-grade mylonite zone reveals three overprinted deformation events. ► Mylonitization occurred at later stages of Famatinian orogeny (441.9 Ma-438.7 Ma). ► Shearing is related to accretion of Cuyania terrane to the western Gondwana margin.
