The photophysical properties (ground- and excited-state dipole moments, change in the dipole moment and fluorescence quantum yield) of 4-methyl-9-(3-oxobutanoyl)-2H,8H-pyrano[2,3-f]chromene-2,8-dione in different solvents are characterized. All the properties are solvent-dependent.81
