Structure, anti-Phytophthora and anti-tumor activities of a nortriterpenoid from the rhizome of Phlomis purpurea (Lamiaceae)

The nortriterpenoid 1 isolated from Phlomis purpurea roots was structurally characterized, evaluated for its activity against Phytophthora species and tumor cell lines and shown to be exuded.
