Preparation and luminescence properties of terbium-doped lanthanum oxide nanofibers by electrospinning

► Tb3+-doped La2O3 (La2O3:Tb3+) fluorescent nanofibers were prepared via a simple electrospinning technique. ► Luminescent properties and other characteristics of the nanofibers were investigated in details. ► Potential applications of La2O3:Tb3+ nanofibers and electrospinning technique described in this paper are suggested.
