The solubility of l-arabinose was measured in water + ethanol solvent system ranging from 0.000 to 1.000 (water content), at temperatures from 283.15 K to 308.15 K under atmosphere pressure, using the gravimetric method. The solubility data were correlated with three kinds of thermodynamic models: solubility versus temperature (van't Hoff model, modified Apelblat model); solubility versus composition of solvent (Jouyban-Acree model); the three-dimensional models (the combination version of Jouyban-Acree and modified Apelblat models, and the combination version of Jouyban-Acree and van't Hoff models). The satisfactory RMSD (the root-mean-square deviation) values of the five models showed that the solubility data with temperature and solvent composition have good mathematical relationships. With the van't Hoff analysis and the Gibbs equation, thermodynamic properties, including enthalpy, entropy and Gibbs energy, were calculated respectively.
