- Organic-rich zones can be tracked using a calculated GR and Th/U ratio
- TOC from C and Ca contents returns accurate prediction of organic-rich zones
- High pressure methane sorption depends mostly on organic matter content
- Adsorbed-to-free gas ratio was predicted from methane adsorption and pore volume
- Fracturing potential was evaluated using rock compounds-based brittleness index
