Percentage inhibition of HIV-1 RT by 18 extracts from 12 medicinal plants used by Venda people (1mg/ml). Percentage inhibition by positive controls were; Combivir® (0.5 mg/ml) was 79.80 ± 0.12 and 62.50 ± 0.31 for Kaletra® (0.5 mg/ml).
