Relation between dynamics, activity and thermal stability within the cholinesterase family

► Three cholinesterases dynamics were examined using incoherent neutron scattering. ► A strong correlation between their dynamics and their activity was observed. ► The higher the flexibility of the protein, the higher its activity. ► No direct relationship between dynamics and thermal stability was revealed.
