New role of microemulsion as reducing agent in palladium catalyzed reductive Ullmann reaction

Ullmann reactions catalyzed by palladium without other reducing agents were performed in microemulsion and the microemulsion was found to be the reducing agent in the Ullmann coupling of a broad spectrum of aryl halides.
