The subgenus Adlerius Nitzulescu (Diptera, Psychodidae, Phlebotomus) in Iran

► We propose an updated distribution of the Adlerius in Iran. ► We record two new species in Iran: P. turanicus and P. salangensis. ► We describe the males of these species is proposed. ► We describe the presumed female of P. turanicus.
