Organochlorine contaminants in albatrosses and petrels during migration in South Atlantic Ocean

► Organochlorine contaminants were assessed in tissues of albatrosses and petrels. ► All birds were collected during their migration period in southern Brazil. ► PCBs and OCPs profiles were similar among the eight species of Procellariiformes. ► Organochlorine concentrations exhibited a high degree of intra-species variability. ► Body condition was a significant factor in the distribution of OCs among tissues.
