Artificial neural network based microwave precipitation estimation using scattering index and polarization corrected temperature

► We have developed an ANN based rainfall retrieval algorithm using microwave measurements. ► The results are compared with existing Power Law based algorithms. ► The new algorithm shows considerable improvement in rainfall estimation especially over higher rain rate sides.
