Knowledge, attitudes and practices of food-borne diseases and surveillance among physicians in Guangdong, China

► A total of 812 participants responded to our study in 10 hospitals. ► There is a need for food-borne diseases surveillance education programs. ► Education for physicians on food-borne diseases is critical for proper treatment. ► Moreover, education for physicians is also critical for on time reporting. ► Alternative study of the physicians' education assessment system is needed.
