Provenance of Oligocene-Miocene sediments in the Subei area, eastern Altyn Tagh fault and its geological implications: Evidence from detrital zircons LA-ICP-MS U-Pb chronology

- The Subei basin and Xiaobiegai basin are located in the eastern Altyn Tagh fault.
- Detrital zircons ages prove provenance of the Subei basin is the Danghenanshan range.
- Sediments of the Xiaobeigai basin are not only from the Danghenanshan range.
- The two basins were a whole basin in Oligocene-early Miocene.
- This basin was folded, tilted, and dislocated at 8 Ma by the ATF.
