Paleozoic evolution of the Qimantagh magmatic arcs, Eastern Kunlun Mountains: Constraints from zircon dating of granitoids and modern river sands

From 513 to 420 Ma, the Qimantagh basement mainly underwent the northward subduction of the Qimantagh Ocean. In the Permian (290-257 Ma), due to the northward subduction of the Paleo-Tethyan Ocean, the Qimantagh area was characterized by an active continental margin setting, developing a continental magmatic arc.
