3230-3200Â Ma post-orogenic extension and mid-crustal magmatism along the southeastern margin of the Barberton Greenstone Belt, South Africa

► This study is focused on the waning stages of a 3.2 Ga TTG magmatic event in the BGB. ► We document a <30 Ma period of mid-crustal extension, between 3228 and 3205 Ma. ► The magmatism was synchronous with extension and diapiric movement of plutons.
