- Thermal decomposition of layered precursors allowed obtaining mesoporous mixed oxides with surface area higher than those reported in previous works.
- Nickel and cobalt catalysts are affected by the activation temperature on the dibenzothiophene hydrodesulfurization reaction.
- Defects of mixed stacking and curves were observed through microscopy studies that could contribute to the increase of active sites.
