Titania supported platinum catalyst with high electrocatalytic activity and stability for polymer electrolyte membrane fuel cell

▶ Pt particles of 3-5 nm can be deposited on mesoporous TiO2. ▶ Pt/TiO2 and Pt/C catalysts exhibit comparable fuel cell activity. ▶ Pt/TiO2 shows high activity and stability after accelerated durability test. ▶ Pt/TiO2 can be a promising catalyst for PEM fuel cells for automotive applications.
