Spatial disparity in transport social needs and public transport provision in Santiago de Cali (Colombia)

► We show a framework theory for accessibility, social exclusion and public transport. ► Specific indices to define public transport social needs and provision are drawn up. ► The created indices are according to the social and urban characteristics of Colombia. ► The two indices are related to express the spatial gap between need and supply. ► Disparities between publically managed transport and social requirements are shown.
