Measurement uncertainty of lactase-containing tablets analyzed with FTIR

- Uncertainty of FTIR samples can be determined with a combination of variographic and multivariate approach.
- While analyzing lactase tablets, the uncertainty of the FTIR instrument was below 1.0%.
- Uncertainty within individual lactase tablet was between 2.0% and 3.0%.
- Heterogeneity within a tablet strip is the most dominant error source.
- For 5.0% uncertainty level, nearly 20 lactase tablets has to be analyzed.
