Disposable biosensor based on platinum nanoparticles-reduced graphene oxide-laccase biocomposite for the determination of total polyphenolic content

► A biosensor based on PtNPs, RGO and laccase for TPC detection was developed. ► A linear calibration between 0.2-2 μM caffeic acid with a LoD of 0.09 μM was obtained. ► The sensitivity was more than 10 times higher than those reported in the literature. ► The modified electrode can determine the TPC from tea infusion samples.
