A new liquid chromatography method with charge aerosol detector (CAD) for the determination of phospholipid classes. Application to milk phospholipids

► LC analysis of phospholipids (PLs) using charge aerosol detector (CAD) is presented. ► The effect of pH modifiers on PLs selectivity was investigated. ► The stability of bare silica and diol column was also studied. ► The method was applied to characterize the phospholipid fractions of cow milk. ► Cow milk PLs were separated by solid-phase extraction (SPE) with very high recovery.
