Synthesis, characterization and DNA interaction studies of new complexes containing 2-mercaptobenzothiazole and different dinitrogen or phosphorous aromatic donors

New metal complexes of 2-mercaptobenzothiazole with different nitrogen (bpy, phen) and phosphorous (PPh3) donors are reported. Anticancer activity (MDA-MB231 and OVCAR-8) and CT-DNA binding properties of some complexes were evaluated.
