Platinum(II) carboxylato complexes containing 7-azaindoles as N-donor carrier ligands showed cytotoxicity against cancer cell lines

Platinum(II) malonato and decanoato complexes containing 7-azaindole derivatives are potent against the A2780 human ovarian carcinoma cells and overcome the acquired resistance against cisplatin. Complexes 2 (G0/G1 arrest) and 4 (high sub-G1 population) modified differently the cell cycle of the A2780 cells.253
