Spectroscopic investigations on La3+, Pr3+, Nd3+ and Gd3+ complexes with a multidentate ligating system: Luminescence properties and biological activities

A series of lanthanide complexes of a ligand, 2,2'-iminobis[N-(3-hydroxypropyl)acetamide] (H2L) derived from iminodiacetic acid and propanolamine has been prepared and characterized by spectral, thermal, electrochemical and DFT studies. Luminescence, antimicrobial and molecular docking properties are also explored.254
