Synthesis and photoluminescence study of two new complexes [Sm(hfaa)3(impy)2] and [Eu(hfaa)3(impy)2] and their PMMA based hybrid films

The luminescence properties of ten-coordinate Sm(III) and Eu(IIII) complexes were investigated in different phases. Spectroscopic investigations demonstrate that emission colours changes with a change in concentration, making them promising candidate for 'colour indicator diodes'.258
