Morphological analysis of sheared rock with water–rock interaction effect

• A new 3D morphology instrument with high-resolution (0.5 μm) was utilized.
• 20 parameters, including some from automotive and metal industries, were utilized.
• Sheared rock surface is much closer to the anisotropic state with water effect.
