Terpenoid composition and botanical affinity of Cretaceous resins from India and Myanmar

► The chemical composition of Cretaceous resins from India and Myanmar was investigated. ► Abietane and labdane type diterpenoids are the major pyrolysis products. ► These resins were probably derived from Pinaceae conifers.
