Geochemistry of coal-measure source rocks and natural gases in deep formations in Songliao Basin, NE China

►The geochemical analysis of the deep gas, macerals inspection of the deep source rocks, the pyrolysis of source rocks and mixing of different origins natural gases were collectively performed. ► The results show that the deep natural gases in Songliao Basin, are mainly derived from coal, beside some oil gases and inorganic alkane gases.
