Characterization of palmitoylation of ATP binding cassette transporter G1: Effect on protein trafficking and function
چکیده انگلیسی
► ABCG1 is palmitoylated at Cys 26, Cys150, Cys311, Cys390 and Cys402. ► Removal of palmitoylation at Cys311 decreased ABCG1-mediated cholesterol efflux. ► Palmitoylation regulates ABCG1 trafficking. ► ABCG1 is palmitoylated in macrophages.
