L’olfaction comme médiation thérapeutique : un dispositif groupal original

RésuméNous présentons ici un dispositif groupal à médiation olfactive, et en analysons les résultats et les ressorts théoriques. Nous émettons l’hypothèse que ce dispositif puise son efficacité dans un double processus partiellement antinomique, où la fonction de contenance et de pare-excitation du groupe amortit la violence née de la résurgence du souvenir que favorise conjointement la médiation choisie.

We present a group setting using olfactive mediation, its results and theoretical mechanisms. Then, we suggest that the efficiency of this setting results from a double, partially antinomian process : on one hand, the holding and protective-shield function of the group amortizes the violence born, on the other hand, from the remembrance born from the mediation chosen.
