Prise en charge des douleurs induites : évolutions récentes

The treatment of induced pain has evolved in the last 10 years. The involvement of the medical and paramedical staff and vast patient information campaign on the different resources are available to treat pain and make this evolution possible. However, the standard of care for induced pain is still far from being homogeneous. Many studies reported the difficulties and the barrier encountered at regional and institutional levels as well as when patient are treated at home. Initial staff training and legislation improved. A constant involvement of medical staff, paramedical staff and institutions is absolutely necessary for the treatment of pain to become part of the medical culture in a long-term evolution.
