Peut-on tuer (violer) par procuration ? Traumatisme et transmission transgénérationnelle

RésuméL’article envisage la possibilité que certains délits ou crimes familiaux puissent être induits inconsciemment auprès de l’auteur par un membre de la famille. Plusieurs vignettes cliniques sont présentées, dont l’une d’un adolescent ayant maltraité sa cousine, ce qui a entraîné le décès de celle-ci. Si l’adolescent agit pour son propre compte, il répète également à son insu l’histoire et la problématique maternelle. Les principaux travaux sur les processus de transmission inter- et transgénérationnelle des phénomènes de maltraitance et des traumatismes sont rappelés. L’identification projective mutuelle serait à l’œuvre. L’article se termine par un plaidoyer pour l’investigation (l’expertise) et la prise en charge du groupe familial bien au-delà du seul auteur.

This article considers the possibility that some delictuous acts or crimes in the family can be unconsciously induced in the author by a member of his family. Several clinical examples are presented including one concerning an adolescent who seriously beat his cousin, resulting in her death. Although the adolescent acted on his own, he also unconsciously repeated the story and the problem configuration of his mother. The principal works concerning the process of inter- and transgenerational transmission of phenomena of maltreatment and of traumatism are recalled. Mutual projective identification seems to be at work. The article ends with a plea for the investigation (court-ordered appraisal) and taking in charge of the family group as a whole, and not only the perpetrator.
