There is an underestimation of the number of children needing palliative care especially in medicosocial structures. The mobile team of adult palliative care does not get involved often enough and so far pediatric palliative care is often focused on pediatricians and nurses while an integrated interdisciplinary approach would be more indicated. It is on these points that will work the new team.
