Médicaments administrables par voie sous-cutanée en soins palliatifs : revue de la littérature et recommandations

Our recommendations contribute to validate and standardize our practice, and help to share a common palliative approach, among the various teams concerned by the end-of-life care such as mobile units of palliative care, home medical care and other networks, by bringing over, arguments, wanted by all colleagues. Many teams already use the subcutaneous route for drugs, none mentioned above. This opens the opportunity to work on the safe applicability of the s/c route for these and other drugs, and to extend the list of useful drugs amenable to s/c administration, through establishment of an “expert agreement”.
