چکیده انگلیسی
The development of healthcare networks is also a reorganization of the healthcare system. More than a strict question of reorganization, the focus is placed on a more fundamental change in the healthcare culture, imposing a new way of working: networking. The interdisciplinary relations which are at the heart of networking are most often reserved for the complex problems generated by the increasingly complex medical progress. These relations are, however, a management tool which can be helpful in dealing with ethical issues. In a given setting of clinical practice this is expressed as an interface between hospital and home care, between the domains of healthcare and medicosocial support, between private and public practice, between interventions and prevention, between curative and palliative care, and between reinsertion and rehabilitation. Networking requires the contribution of many different occupations working in a given setting: a network coordinator, occupations which can be “mutualized” between different networks or healthcare organizations, interface facilitators; and network specific occupations. For this coordination to be effective, the operator must present specific qualifications, acquired with specific training to achieve this competency. We discuss how this type of training for network coordinators can be constructed.
