R-SOS has adequate parameters to be used in the medical area and research. One of its advantages is that it is applicable to a greater range of population as it takes sexual orientation into account. On the other hand, it has been confirmed that some sociodemographic variations affect how people respond to sexual stimuli. That fact shows us that it is necessary to go more deeply into this investigation in order to have a greater understanding of human sexuality.
