Étude des biais d'interprétation émotionnelle dans l'évaluation de situations futures chez le sujet alcoolodépendant

This bias results in a specific emotional evaluation of future life events. Alcohol dependent subjects find it less easy to imagine themselves in a positive situation, while intensifying any emotion felt and the clarity of this event. In addition, alcohol dependent subjects have a kind of disaffection faced with imagined negative future situations. This functioning could be a specific mechanism that could favor “the relapse”. Until now, we tended to assess the subject with the stimulus of “alcohol” and have based CBT treatment around this stimulus. Since our material does not mention alcohol, our results indicate that cognitive treatment of the alcohol dependent subject generally skews their judgment on their life events. Thus, this more general functioning could be a complementary phase in the “consideration of high-risk situations” used in the Marlatt and Donovan model (Marlatt and Donovan, 2008 [23]), which is, itself, specific to the object “alcohol”.
