Traumatisme sexuel et obésité chez l’adolescente

RésuméDans la clinique de l’obésité, le corps peut être l’espace d’expression privilégié du trauma chez l’adolescente. Ce corps constitue une forme d’enveloppe « surprotectrice » dans laquelle le sujet anesthésie sa souffrance. Concrètement, suite à un trauma sexuel dans l’enfance, certaines adolescentes peuvent développer, après-coup, une obésité réactionnelle, dont la manifestation comportementale est l’« hyper-investissement de la sphère orale ». La conduite est de type hyperphagique boulimique. De la sorte, au moment de l’avènement du pubertaire, nous assistons à une « explosion » pondérale. Ainsi, nous posons l’hypothèse que le corps devient le lieu d’un agir « sexuel » à travers l’addiction alimentaire. Ce corps est porteur de honte et de culpabilité.
