Processus autistiques et psychomotricité. « Apprendre de l’expérience »

RésuméL’enfant qui se trouve aux prises avec des processus autistiques plus ou moins envahissants, présente toujours à des degrés divers des troubles psychomoteurs bloquant le développement harmonieux des champs psychoaffectif, cognitif et instrumental. Le psychomotricien de l’équipe est souvent sollicité pour intervenir dans la prise en charge globale nécessaire pour ces pathologies autistiques. Il est alors utile que soient mieux cernées la pertinence et l’adéquation d’un travail en psychomotricité auprès de ces enfants. Un travail portant sur les contenants corporels et les analogies corps–espace, et dans une expérience partagée par l’enfant et le soignant, permet la construction du corps (de soi, de l’autre) comme « objet de connaissance par l’expérience », et la restauration d’une psychomotricité plus harmonieuse.
