Être en fugue : des adolescents en attente de soin

RésuméPour un service de pédopsychiatrie de secteur disposant d'une hospitalisation temps plein, la rencontre avec des adolescents fugueurs se fait à travers des demandes d'hospitalisations formulées par des tiers (parents, travailleurs sociaux, magistrats). Ces adolescents constituent une population relativement homogène présentant des troubles de la personnalité et des difficultés sociales. La proposition est faite d'une part de considérer ces fugues comme un état et non comme un agi, d'autre part de les traiter en prenant en compte la fonction de ce symptôme plus que son sens.

In the case of a teenager psychiatry unit, with full time hospitalization facility, the first contact with runaway teenagers happens through the hospitalization demands of a third party (parents, social workers, judges). These teenagers constitute a rather homogeneous group, with personality disorders and social difficulties. We would like to suggest, on the one hand, to consider their running away as a state and not as an act, and on the other hand, to treat them by taking the function of this symptom into consideration rather than its sense.
