Réalités et représentations dans les situations de maltraitance à enfants

RésuméToute intervention, tout acte (psycho) thérapeutique est marqué par la subjectivité du clinicien. Fort de son expérience, celui-ci procède, consciemment et inconsciemment, de jeux associatifs et représentatifs dans la perspective d’une élaboration pertinente au bénéfice de l’interlocuteur, du patient. Dans le domaine spécifique des maltraitances à enfants, le professionnel doit constamment osciller entre réalité (matérialité des faits) et mise à disposition psychique pour soutenir le travail de mobilisation des ressources propice à l’établissement de patterns interactionnels fonctionnels. À la lumière de la description d’un temps de confrontation d’une situation de suspicion de maltraitance physique intrafamiliale, l’article propose de parcourir la notion de représentation inhérente à toute rencontre humaine et, en conséquence, aux choix qu’opère l’intervenant. Le travail sur les représentations scandé en trois temps est ainsi abordé dans une visée de rencontre thérapeutique.
