L’hyperactivité de l’enfant : entre théories et pratiques, l’exemple de la consultation conjointe du CHU de Nantes

RésuméLes hypothèses étiologiques concernant le syndrome d’hyperactivité avec déficit de l’attention de l’enfant oscillent entre neurobiologie et psychodynamique. Or la prise en charge proposée découle du versant, somatique ou psychique, sur lequel se place préférentiellement le thérapeute. Il a donc semblé intéressant aux praticiens pédiatres et pédopsychiatres nantais de combiner cette double approche dans une consultation conjointe neuropsychiatrique spécialisée. Avec un recul de quatre ans, cet article se propose de présenter une analyse rétrospective de ces consultations, de la demande initiale à l’orientation finale.

The etiological hypotheses concerning childhood Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) alternate between neurobiological and psychodynamic factors. Yet the therapeutic project depends on the somatic or psychological interpretation favored by the therapist. The pediatricians and pediatric psychologists in Nantes thus wished to combine both aspects in a specialized joint neuropsychiatric approach. This article presents a retrospective analysis of these consultations over a period of four years, from the initial contact with the patient to the final orientation.
