Investigation of shear thinning behavior and microstructures of MWCNT/epoxy and CNF/epoxy suspensions under steady shear conditions

► We report steady-state viscosities of non-dilute nanofiller/epoxy suspensions. ► In situ observation of filler network in suspensions under shear was conducted. ► The shear thinning exponent increases in conjunction with increase in filler content. ► The elasticity-based model was applied to the prediction of steady state viscosity.
