Synthesis, photophysical, electrochemical and thermal studies on carbazole-based acceptor molecules for heterojunction solar cell

► 3-tricyanovinyl-N-alkylcarbazoles have been synthesized and characterized. ► Aggregation properties of these compounds in thin film showed the role of alkyl chain. ► Photoluminescence quenching with the P3HT blends of these compounds were studied.
